The
ALPHA Course The Alpha Course is an
opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith and in a relaxed,
non-threatening, low-key, friendly and fun atmosphere. The course consists of a
series of talks looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how
do I pray?’ There is also opportunity to discuss these issues in small groups.
Alpha is especially for those wanting to investigate Christianity, new
Christians, newcomers to the church and those who want to brush up on the
basics. We have run two courses this year, one in the autumn and the other in
the spring. If

www.uk.alpha.org. Discovering your S.H.A.P.E for Ministry
‘Discovering your
S.H.A.P.E for Ministry’ is a three week course which provides us with the
opportunity to explore how God has equipped us for ministry and where we are
best suited to serve Him. Christians have been gifted by God to do his work for
his glory. This course helps us if we are unsure what our gifts are or enables
us to re-examine our gifts. This course runs regularly – for further
information contact the rector.
Lost for Words We can find ourselves "lost for words" when someone asks us about our faith or when we feel we would like to share our faith with others. This course is an introduction to evangelism, not necessarily speaking in public but more sharing comfortably with those around us e.g. friends, work colleagues and family.
